GCSE 2022

Message to Candidates

Jay Shree Swaminarayan

Congratulations to all candidates who received a GCSE Gujarati grade this year. It was yet another excellent set of results, which included four 8 grades (equivalent to A*), and four 7 grades (equivalent to A). Well done to all the candidates and thank you for your hard work in maintaining the high standards we look to achieve at the School.

This was the first year students sat GCSE Gujarati exams since the change of Exam Board from OCR to Pearson Edexcel, with the last two cohorts being given Teacher Assessed Grades due to the pandemic.

I would like to thank all the GCSE Teachers that have worked so hard in getting the children ready for their GCSEs, particularly through the pandemic.

An electronic copy of the Statements of Results will be sent to the parent email address that was provided on the application form. If you have not received the Statement of Result by the end of day Friday 26th August, please email us at education@sstw.org.uk, with your child's name.

On behalf of all the staff at the Gujarati School, we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours.
