Kirtan of the Month: Baar Maas Pura Thaiya

As it was the beginning of the month, team Ghadhada were aksed to select a Kirtan of their choice in which they chose 'Baar Maas Pura Thaiya...'. They were required to present and explain the meaning behind this kirtan. As a group, they decide that the best way to protray the story (leela) behind the Kirtan would be by recreating the events that took place in this leela, with the aid of videography.

Preservation Plus Project

A Project by the Youth Academy of Shree Swaminarayan Temple Willesden, on the subject of the importance of Preservation, all with a strong message to help inspire our future generation to lead by example. By the instructions of our Acharya Maharajshree, the project was on view for thousands to experience during the Swaminarayan Museum opening ceremony. Maharaj's Apprentice: 2

The Yuvak of Shree Swaminarayan Temple Willesden and Shree Swaminarayan Temple Woolwich had been given the task of finding Maharaj's Apprentice. Maharaj set the groups a task of creating a 3 minute video clip which is based on one of His Shikshapatri Shloks.

 

Maharaj's Apprentices did not disappoint! All the teams done an absolutely amazing pitch with their videos and presentation. The judging panel said the scores were very close between all the teams. Well done everyone, and congratulations to the boys side winning team, Ahemdabad. For those that missed it can watch the videos below.
