Mohini Ekadashi - Saturday 6th May

Sri Yudhisthira Maharaja said, "Oh JanArdana, what is the name of the EkAdasii that occurs during the light fortnight (sukla paksha) of the month of VaisAkha (April-May) ? What is the process for observing it properly? Kindly narrate all of these details to me."
The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Sri Krishna replied, "Oh blessed son of Dharma, what Vasishtha Muni once told to Lord Ramachandra I shall now describe to you. Please hear Me attentively.
"Lord Ramachandra asked Vasishtha Muni, 'Oh great sage, I would like to hear about the best of all fasting days – that day which destroys all kinds of sins and sorrows. I have suffered long enough in separation from My dear SitA, and so I wish to hear from you about how My suffering can be ended.'
"The sage Vasishtha replied, 'Oh Lord RAma, Oh You whose intelligence is so keen, simply by remembering Your name one can cross the ocean of the material world. You have questioned me in order to benefit all of humanity and fulfill everyone's desires. I shall now describe that day of fasting which purifies the whole world.
" 'Oh Rama, that day is known as VaisAkha-sukla EkAdasii, It removes all sins and is famous as Mohinii EkAdasii.

Apara Ekadashi - Vaishakh Vad Ekadashi

King Yudhishthir asked, "O Janardan! What is the name of Ekadashi that falls in the dark (Vad) fortnight of Vaishakh? What is its Mahatmya? Please tell me this in great detail."

Bhagwan Shree Krishna replied, "O King Yudhishthir! You have asked a very good question. Vaishakh Vad Ekadashi is called Apara Ekadashi. It is capable of fulfilling one's all worldly desires as well as negating all sins. A person fasting on this Ekadashi earns a great fame in this world. Even major sins such as killing a Brahmin, who tormenting or destroying his own family, killing a child in mother's womb, defaming someone with intent or committing adultery with other woman are washed away by observing the Vrat of Apara Ekadashi.

Nirjala Ekadashi – Jyestha Sud Ekadashi - AKA Bhim Ekadashi

Once Bhimsen asked Vyas Muni, "O sage! My four brothers, mother Kunti and Sati Draupadi never eat food on the day of Ekadashi. They do insist that I, too, undertake fast on Ekadashi. However, I am unable to stay hungry. Is there any way that I can earn the Punya of observing Ekadashi without fasting?"

Sage Vyas replied, "O Bhim! You should undertake a fast on each Ekadashi of both Sud and Vad fortnight, if you intend to go to heaven rather than hell."

Yogini Ekadashi - Jyeshtha Vad Ekadashi

King Yudhishthir asked Bhagwan, "O Shree Krishna! By what name the Ekadashi falling in Vad fortnight of Jyeshtha is known? Please narrate to me the significance of this Ekadashi.

Bhagwan Shree Krishna replied, "O king! This Ekadashi is called Yogini Ekadashi, which can fulfil men's all worldly desires and help him attain Moksha.
